Toenail Fungus Remedy | What Really Works?

Finding a toenail fungus remedy that is effective enough to be included on RemedyScribe.com has been quite a challenge. We decided not to discuss prescription medications that are available because of their high cost and the possibility of severe side effects to your liver. Anecdotal evidence indicates that these medications are only totally effective about 50% of the time, anyway, so including them in an article about toenail fungus remedies may be counterproductive.

Toenail fungus, or onychomycosis, actually lives under your toenail, not in your toenail. To be effective, any remedy for toenail fungus must either attack the fungus from inside, through your blood stream, or be able to penetrate your toenail and get to it that way.

You also need to understand that, absent a prescription, killing the fungus is next to impossible. Fortunately, we don’t have to kill it, because it’s also true that the fungus is very sensitive to the environment in which it lives. It’s been found that, if you can find a way to raise the acidic levels (or, “Ph”) of that environment, the fungus will cease to reproduce. Keeping the Ph level high will allow new toenail to grow in infection free, and the old infected toenail will, over time, be pushed out and cut off. So, you need to find a toenail fungus remedy that will attack the fungus’ environment as hard as it attacks the fungus, itself.

Doing a simple Google search for toenail fungus remedy returns over 600,000 results! You’ll find articles that swear by every remedy from tea tree oil, to vinegar, to Vics’s Vap-O-Rub. The problem arises when you begin to notice that, for everyone that swears by one of these remedies, there are just as many folks that swear that they don’t work. So, what’s a person supposed to believe?

We believe them all, actually. Evidence points to the fact that there are several different strains of toenail fungus, and each strain reacts differently to different compounds. Applying vinegar, for instance, may be very effective on strain “A”, but totally ineffective on strain “B” (or “C” or “D”, etc).

That being the case, finding a remedy for toenail fungus that works for you is going to require some time and a bit of experimenting.

Unless…you do what I did and use ZetaClear. I initially tried it because I read an in-depth article about how it attacked toenail fungus with both an external potion that is applied directly on your toenail, and a herbal spray that you take orally that will get into your blood stream and raise your nail Ph level from the inside.

Of course, we don’t sell Zetaclear (or, anything else) here at RemedyScribe.com, but, if you’d like to check it out for yourself, Click This Link.

The good thing, though, is you now have a better understanding of the nature of your toenail infection. That makes you better prepared than 90% of those out there with the disease to look for, and find a toenail fungus remedy that’s right for you.

One More Extremely Important Point…

Never forget that onychomycosis is a fungus, and, as such, reproduces by producing spores. Think of these spores as seeds that can lay dormant for long periods of time before “taking root” and starting to grow.

The point is, whether you choose to use ZetaClear, another OTC product, or even a home remedy, complete the entire treatment! Don’t stop the treatments just because your nails are clearing up and look fine. Stopping treatment too soon may leave some of these spores alive, and, before long, you may find yourself in the middle of a brand new infection.

And…Please consider ZetaClear, a toenail fungus remedy that is guaranteed to work when used as directed!
