When acne breakouts persist into your adult years, you have to look for causes other than the raging hormones of adolescence to determine the best treatment. The fact is, most adult acne is actually the symptom of a deeper, possibly more serious, problem.
This is not true in all cases, of course. You may have an allergy being triggered by a certain brand of make-up or shave cream. Or, in women in their 20s and 30s, it could be hormonal swings associated with your period. Identifying and treating this type of adult acne is rather simple, as breakouts occur in conjunction with certain events.
Most cases of adult acne, however, (especially chronic cases) start a lot deeper in your body. The most simple explanation is…your body is out of balance, and your acne outbreak is the result of your body’s natural defenses at work.
We live in a world that produces over 300 chemicals that didn’t exist 50 years ago. They keep out food fresh, our colors bright, and serve a thousand other purposes that lift our quality of life above anything ever known before. But, as with most things that are man-made, they also have a dark side.
As we go through our daily routines, we are constantly in contact with things that contain these chemicals. They’re in the food we eat, the clothes we wear, and uncounted other places. Eventually some of these chemicals will be absorbed into your body, either through the food you eat or through contact with your skin. If (or, when) enough of this material is absorbed to cause an internal chemical imbalance, your body has no choice but to attempt to rid itself of these poisons.
It’s the way that your body handles this task that’s important here. In some folks, the body will emulsify these toxins in fat cells and store them. That’s why you see very few fat adults with acne.
Those that suffer from adult acne have bodies that use a different method of dealing with this chemical imbalance. For whatever reason (DNA?), your body emulsifies the toxins in perspiration and sebum oil and secrets it out through the pores in your skin. The perspiration normally presents no problem, as normal washing will remove it and the toxins it contains. Sebum oil, on the other hand, is a very big issue.
Sebum oil is a natural substance found on everyone’s skin. At normal levels, it helps keep your skin moist and pliable. Unfortunately, when your body starts producing extraordinary amounts of the oil to help remove this chemical imbalance, it tends to collect in pores and hair follicles and clog normal skin functions. This is where your adult acne begins.
Enter now the P-acne bacteria (Propionibacterium acnes). Again, this bacteria is present on everyone’s skin, and normally plays a beneficial roll by helping control other, more harmful, bacteria. It does, however, have one very interesting characteristic. The P-acne bacteria thrives in an oxygen-free environment. Just the kind of environment created in your skin’s pores and hair follicles by clogged sebum oil.
Once your pores are clogged, the bacteria that was present inside the pore starts to multiply at a very high rate. When the level of bacteria becomes high enough, they begin to cause skin irritation and redness. This causes your body’s natural defenses to send white blood cells to attack the bacteria. When enough bacteria and white blood cells are present in the pore, an infectious lump or closed comedone (whitehead) forms.
When you realize that this scenario is occurring in skin pores and hair follicles all over your body, the reason your adult acne breakouts occur should no longer be a mystery. And, since your face, nose, and neck have (by far) more pores per square inch than any other section of your skin, the acne will be most prevalent in those areas.
Why your current adult acne treatment isn’t working…
Most treatments being used these days only attack half of the problem. They treat the obvious condition on your skin, but do nothing to treat the underlying cause. The internal imbalances continue to occur unchecked. And, until you get this internal problem corrected, the external symptoms (acne) will continue to appear. This is the largest single reason that most chronic adult acne is…well, chronic!
An adult acne treatment that does work…

The Acnezine Total Acne Solution is an extremely effective adult acne treatment that uses a topical acne cream containing benzoil peroxide, recognized as one of the most powerful anti-bacterial agents available. This topical treatment will attack and relieve all of your acne’s external conditions, including pimples, whiteheads, blackheads, and skin irritation.

More importantly, Acnezine treats your internal problem with a once-a-day capsule containing a propitiatory herbal formula that attacks your acne from the inside by aiding in your body’s effort to remove excess toxins, chemicals, and poisons through it’s normal channels, rather than with sebum oil.
Best of all…It Works! Thousands upon thousands of people have used Acnezine to control, and even actually eliminate their adult acne breakouts.
